Paras Dews is a premium six-tower residential development by Paras Buildtech on the Dwarka Expressway in Sector 106, Gurugram. The project comprises six G+24 towers totalling around 724 apartments across 13.76 acres. For a high-rise residential cluster of this scale, structural diagnostics and quality assurance of as-built concrete are critical both for safety and for the developer’s long-term reputational obligations to apartment buyers.
High-rise residential construction in the NCR involves rapid, large-volume concreting, multiple concurrent towers under construction, and demanding handover schedules. The diagnostic work had to be carried out alongside ongoing construction without slowing the contractor’s critical path. The investigation focused on concrete quality consistency across pours, cover-to-reinforcement and identification of any localised deficiencies that could affect long-term durability.
BuildAid carried out a NDT-led assessment using UPV, Rebound Hammer, cover-meter and core testing across selected slabs, columns and shear walls. Carbonation depth and chloride profiles were measured to verify concrete cover adequacy for the design service life. Findings were reported tower-by-tower with element-level traceability so that the developer’s site team could take corrective action where needed.
